Hargos is one of the most promising metal bands that appears at the brazilian scenery. The band project has appeared in may 2004, with an innovative objective considering sound effects, and also to rescue Minas Gerais and Belo Horizonte(the same city of Sepultura) history, and other realities in their music’s.

The name Argos comes from the Greece mythology and it means “ the hundred eyes giant”. Associating the philosophy from this character with the importance of the music, with which the band identifies a lot, it was added to the band name, the letter “H”, coming from Harp, a musical instrument interpreted in several histories as an enchantment symbol.

The Line Up Breno Lorenzo(Vocals), Breno Lorenzo(Vocals),Reinaldo Alves(Guitars), Vinícius Ligano (bass), Helder Lima (drums) e Thiago Valadão(Keyboards), throughout the year 2004, the band played in festivals all over Brazil.

The results were so positive, that they were invited to play at the Rock History Festival, having in its casting Shaaman, Korzus, Mad Dragzter, Overdose and a French banda Sweet Silence, taking place on December 18 th at the Chevrolet Hall for 3.500 people. All the national media has chosen the band the night revealing.

At the 2005 year, the band kept on their new conquests. Several invitations have come, and this fact has given Hargos the possibility of participating at a BH Metal Rock, which happened in June, where they have shared the stage with Tuatha de Danan, for the big audience.

With ten ready musics, the band establishes a partnership, and invited Stanley Soares,sound engineer of one the best world rock icons, the American band Motorhead, and also the producer of the brazilian metal band, Sepultura, and Alan Wallace from Eminence to produce the first album, entitled “ Shadows of Violence”.

Marcus Viana, responsible for Globo television channel sound effects and a musician from Sagrado Coração da Terra, the lyrical singer Isabela Santos, the winner of the International Prize Bidu Sayão 2006 and Wallace Parreiras from Eminence, they have had a special participation on the album.

In 2006, the outstanding event was the opening for Shaaman´s international tour, for a 2.400 people audience on march 25 th, in Belo Horizonte. In October, the band was considered the headliner in Metal Alliance Fest, for 2.150 people.

The record was mastered at the biggest studio of latin America, Classic Master, by the famous engineer Carlos Freitas, that mastered many bands like Shaaman, Titãs, CPM 22 and others Brazilians famous bands), The graphic project has been developed by Gustavo Sazes, considered one of the best designers at the brazilian phonographic market.

In 2007, the line up changed with Andre Hasane(guitars) and Victor Munhoz(Keyboards). The Mineiro Music Prize, event made by the Ministerial Culture of Minas Gerais and promoted by 98 FM(the bigger rock station on Brazil), has pointed out Hargos as the best heavy metal band for the 2007 edition.

The band has been chosen for the Wacken Metal Battle 2007, that are the eliminatory of the bigger Metal Festival from Europe, Wacken Open Air, which happens yearly at Wacken city in Germany during august.

The so expected album, Shadows of Violence released in June 2007, by the Die Hard Records all over Brazil in a especial version digipack,and will license it in Europe. In the moment, the band is on the Shadows of Violence Tour.
